Someone just said to me, “I feel like my message is falling on deaf ears...” and I told them that I felt that “saying” is inappropriate. It seems disrespectful and rude to the deaf & HOH community. She said I was being over sensitive. Thoughts?
So greatful for those in my community that bring things like this to light. I’d not considered it before but immediately removed this phrase from my vocabulary.

My wish is that brands requesting video services would understand THIS point. Also respecting timelines is crucial. Not everything can be done at the drop of a hat. There are processes.
Why are there some people for whom you instantly have a strong affinity? I'm not talking about sexual attraction or even love at first sight. Both of those are actually a lot more common than this. I am referring to what I can only describe as an overwhelming sense of LIKE.
I’m not afraid to tell you if I like you. We all want hear we are liked by others. I think life is too short to make people wonder where they stand. I’d rather risk a moment of awkwardness than to never tell you how great I think you are. Maybe that makes me more likable too?
