Just curious, in arctic weather having a warm gun then going outside can cause malfunctions even with the best cold weather lube.

True, any large change in temp that can cause condensation to develop then freeze will lock up moving parts. Often seen when bringing a frozen gun into a warm environment, then back out to refreeze. Condensation is best reserved for the outside of a glass of bourbon.
