Okay, I’ll admit that Endgame has got me excited about the future of the MCU.

It’s basically the opposite of Infinity War. IW was a messy, hollow and ultimately safe movie that pretended to be a change in the status quo. Endgame is messy but has heart and changes the status quo. IW represents the worst of the MCU. Endgame the best.
Why can’t you appreciate Endgame without bashing Infinity War though? Are you going to pretend they didn’t compliment each other and work because of one another? I just watched Infinity War straight after Endgame, these movies really need each other. It’s almost symbiotic.
Can’t say I disagree. I mean, I love his attitude regarding Star Wars, Infinity War not so much. It’s obvious what the Russo's tried to do, they even said so themselves. Infinity War (part one) is a tight no-time-to-breathe action flick. Endgame (part two) is the opposite.
I mean, personally I’m not a huge fan of Infinity War myself, but I do see it’s value. Together with Endgame these two films really feel like the grandest, epic, and most expensive season finale ever made, that won’t be matched anytime soon.
I’m still a sucker for Star Wars though. They have a creative vibe and a personality incomparable to Endgame and IW. But that’s it, they aren’t comparable, so let’s not. To many seem to do. Let’s appreciate the different kinds of art we get.
