The new Dumbo movie might be a great blockbuster movie, but the sad reality is that there are plenty of real-life Dumbos in the world...

Climate change will gradually shift elephants to higher elevations in the Himalayan mountains. Read more, here #climatechange #asianelephants https://india.mongabay.com/2019/04/elephant-habitat-in-the-indian-subcontinent-to-shift-towards-the-himalayas-says-study/ …

I agreed. even their group size and uses of habitat pattern are now limited in pocket migration. They are now become rare in old traditional routes and landscapes.

Standing up against mighty forces of greedy politicians, builders & IAS officers to save country 's oldest forest is indeed creditable. Kudos to the Haryana foresters. They deserve a round of applause & some recognition across the country! Will not you like to salute them ? https://twitter.com/lifeindia2016/status/1104251989230260224 …

Well done to all who fought, overtly or covertly. The natural heritage of India is not to be subverted for any reason

Dr Dhriti Kanta Lahiri Choudhury a giant among conservationists synonymous with Asian elephant conservation, has passed away. A founding member of the Asian Elephant Specialist Group that is funded by Elephant Family, he inspired a generation. He will be missed.

He was the only inspiration and give up me continiously. We lost a part of ourself.
