#DearTech Thanks once again to @IBM, @Ogilvy, #TiffanyCompanyCasting, #AnonymousContent, and director @MarkRomanek for casting and filming me in #DearTech, which I hear is still running. Thanks to personalities who appeared, crew, and execs. A great experience, wonderful surprise
This is what the Tesla sentry mode recording looks like. Alleged to have left the scene, without leaving information, after $2000 damage, is a city council candidate and ex traffic court judge previously convicted and jailed for lying to FBI
Amazing first flight of Stratolaunch, essentially 2 747's joined at the wing and the largest aircraft ever built. Designed as a space booster, it can carry 200 tons, but might not have a mission in the face of launch development by SpaceX, RocketLab, etc.
On Thursday, @SpaceX took a satellite to an especially high Geostationary Transfer Orbit and LANDED ALL THREE first-stage boosters and two fairing halves in fit condition for reuse, recovering 27 of the 28 rocket engines used in the mission.
People are petty. They can't do anything good, useful, helpful to society and/or be successful. They, like Donald Trump, bring people down to make themselves look better or feel better. It doesn't work. They're an emotional black hole I don't need fancy software to detect. https://twitter.com/thisgreyspirit/status/1116518544961830918 …
The cruelty is the message. They are gratified by cruelty to women, minorities, South Americans especially including their children, sanctuary cities, people who work for social justice, the list goes on. Trump uses this. This is a playbook straight from Hitler.
If you want to quietly drop a Twitter follower, block them, and then immediately unblock them. They will no longer be following you, and won't know it, unless they notice their followed number has declined. And then it will be difficult for them to tell who did it.
Same odd sound at the end of the burn as the first full-size Raptor test. But that one was damaged. It will be interesting if this one gets another test soon, showing it's undamaged. The very first staged-combustion full-flow engine ever fitted to a vehicle, so this is special.
Thank you for speaking at our supplier conference! Our supplier team supports the backbone of America’s space launch capabilities and is helping ULA transform the future of launch #ULARocketTeam https://twitter.com/RepMoBrooks/status/1113433704083464195 …
This is why @ulalaunch is destined to fail in the launch market. They negotiate supply monopolies in exchange for pricing, and treat their supplier channel like an insider network or a jobs program. @SpaceX buys more competitively or makes it inside.
I did a frame grab from IBM Dear Tech. That's what I look like these days. Wouldn't mind having the curly hair back you saw in Revolution OS. https://www.ibm.com/thought-leadership/smart/?S_PKG=AW&cm_mmc=Search_Google-_-Corporate+Advertising_Pillars-_-US_US-_-ibm+dear+tech_Exact_AW …
Bridenstine proposes to fly Orion to moon using Falcon Heavy and "Interim Cryogenic Stage", essentially a Delta IV second stage. Looks like a serious proposal, not an April Fool's article. This guy really does want to sink SLS. With good reason. Good luck!
Falcon Heavy mission to launch Arabsat 6A coming up, with static fire probably on Tuesday. >14,000 pound satellite, and the center core will land on a barge 600 miles downrange, the farthest, hottest, fastest re-entry for reuse so far, with the side cores landing at Canaveral.
