It seems sad to me that from now on when somebody refers to the mass shooting in Aurora, we have to specify which one.

Oh, no. They’re still trapped in the original pilot script. Spock has terrible eyebrows. “You want me to test my theory out on your head?” #TrekAllNite

I can't get over how idiotic this talking point is: "The 25th Amendment is in the Constitution, so any scheme hatched by a bureaucratic cabal to depose the president must be legal if the schemers invoke it." Never underestimate how much bad punditry is driven by sheer stupidity

“A bureaucratic cabal” = The VP and the Cabinet. Maxine hit him harder than I thought she did.

Is @RepTimRyan running for president? @chucktodd asks the Ohio Congressman on #MTPDaily "I have not yet made a decision... I am strongly considering it, I continue to strongly consider it and I'll keep you posted, Chuck."

Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander says Trump declaring an emergency is unwise and inconsistent with the Constitution: "It is unwise because if this president can declare a national emergency to build a wall, the next president can declare a national emergency to tear it down."

“Unwise” is the new “troubled.”

It is an abuse of power. It is an assault on Congress's Article I powers. Mitch McConnell is complicit. http://esqr.co/DBhW0YM  via @CharlesPPierce

There is no "invasion" at the southern border. The president declared a "national emergency" and assaulted the Constitution because Congress didn't give him all the money he wanted and he thinks it will hurt him politically.
