Took a wild stab at who might make the 12. Here's what I came up with PGs Tyrese Haliburton Kira Lewis R.J. Hampton Wings: Jalen Green Cade Cunningham Isaac Okoro Forwards: Ziaire Williams Scottie Barnes Kessler Edwards Bigs: Isaiah Stewart Evan Mobley Jeremiah Robinson-Earl

USA Basketball announced the 30 players that will be trying out for the FIBA U19 World Cup team, coached by Bruce Weber. Really interesting mix of guys from different age groups. Should be a loaded team when they whittle it down to 12.

Two auxiliary gyms, which are typically used for high school/amateur league games due to its limited seating and infrastructure, would have been the main venues available, something that the NBA ultimately deemed unacceptable once the extent of the problem was fully discovered.

This, despite pictures of the venue appearing on the official event website (https://nbaglobalcamp.com/venue/ ). Should the team advance past the playoff quarterfinals, their arena will be unavailable for the dates of the Global Camp due to TV production obligations and practice schedules.

Sources say confusion among which venues were booked by organizers are among the key reasons for the last minute cancellation. 1st division team AS Monaco Basketball claims to have not been consulted about the availability of their arena which was slated to host the Global Camp.

Quoted @DraftExpress

Source: The NBA Global Camp has been canceled due to logistical issues with the venue in Monaco, as well as other concerns. Unfortunate news for the NBA's official international Combine. Plenty of people had already booked travel, including players that were invited to attend.

NBA officially confirms to ESPN it elected to cancel next week's Global Camp in Monaco: “We have cancelled The NBA Global Camp due to logistical issues and other contributing factors that jeopardized our ability to successfully conduct the camp. It will return in the future.”

Back home which means I have time to revisit film from the NBA Combine. Thought Darius Bazley helped himself as much as anyone considering the circumstances and the fact that he's still only 18. Body has improved and talent really popped on both ends. Looked like a 1st round pick
