Providing tax breaks to the wealthy does not provide benefits to others, it merely makes the rich richer. https://psmag.com/economics/trickle-down-economics-is-indeed-a-joke?fbclid=IwAR2cvYkxq-ddpyTM6byhUK3_QWsDjfQkxHxbybTLa580JDuTFG-FdPYpz5w&sfns=mo …
My home is worth less than it was 10 yrs ago, and I'm 65. You don't get a do-over at this stage in life. Millions of Albertans are in the same boat. Thanks to Skippy McSocks and his gang of fools. And people wonder why we're angry. Look in the mirror, Liberal idiots. https://twitter.com/rules_doyle/status/1142564717111721984 …
We bought a house 5 years ago. I wish we hadn't. We bought more house than we needed, thinking we would have 2 kids. We didn't. I'm not earning now what I was when we bought the house, and I started a business. I wish we'd rented, but we were taught home ownership is everything.
At a cycling conference I spoke at this year, a man came up to me to tell me how an e-bike totally changed his 93 year old father's life. Prior to the bike, he was very socially isolated. Now he's out in the community every day. Think about that the next time you shit on e-bikes.
I don't understand people who shit on e-bikes and things like comfort camping. If it gets you out of the house and you're having fun, that's all that matters.
Was in an aisle seat on overnight flight to Amsterdam. Went to the restroom and middle seat guy moved himself into my seat and was snuggled in a blanket “asleep” when I returned. I tap him and said “excuse me?” He said, “oh, I thought you left.” #wherewouldIgo
A referendum about equalization is a gimmick. If Mr. Kenney believes Albertans shouldn't stay in Canada unless no one else gets a say on where oil pipelines & tankers should go, he should say that - and ask for a vote on separation. https://twitter.com/jkenney/status/1142440377200209920 …
This referendum will politicize national unity in Alberta, raise expectations that will never be fulfilled. The consequences could damage our federation and be difficult to undo. For nothing but political posturing. Headed down a dangerous path
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says his government will soon introduce legislation to give Albertans a say on who represents them in the Senate because the province wants "accountability from our senators."
🤬🤬🤬 I couldn't even watch the whole video. I really hate this jackass.
There is no way in a million years that the Trudeau Liberals would have voted for a bill that limits the Quebec economy as much as Bill C-48 limits the Alberta economy. This is pure Liberal discrimination against Alberta -- and it won't be forgotten.
Words have meaning. People like this, who hold public platforms and engage in this hyperbolic, performative rhetoric, are stoking sentiments that will cause far more harm than any good they imagine can come
