A 170-year-old lighthouse is set to be rebuilt, after it was dismantled to make way for the new Queensferry Crossing across the Firth of Forth.

Wondrous visit to @RBGE_Herbarium with @EdinburghShore1 to see local algae specimens & then onto paint them As a child I collected & painted shells & seaweed so often. Beautiful reminisce for me. Thanks to @cryptocuratoria @SSusanmwhite
Many thanks to Natalie @wildlife_info for our Introduction to Wildlife recording training today. Engrossed participants, who even went out in the rain for a little recording! Now, onward to collecting data on our local wildlife!

Artist @SSusanmwhite of Rosamund of Scotland has been creating sketches and watercolours inspired by @RBGE_Herbarium collection and using them to produce printed silk scarves! Beautiful! #sciart @TheBotanics
