When intel agencies come out & definitively said Russia hacked the DNC, news networks (rightly) called out those who dismissed it. But when those same agencies say (& provide evidence that) Iran attacked the tankers, some of the same networks parrot Iranian propoganda.
In his book, Acosta casually mentions the “binders” incident as a prime example of how Romney was a “disastrous” candidate, adding that such “gaffes” seem “downright quaint now." So close – but Acosta misses his moment of self-realization by this much.

The United States has treated freedom of navigation as a core national security priority & has deployed the Navy to protect it for over 200 years. That doesn't change just because some journalists & pundits went all-in on "Iranian moderation" and now look ridiculous.
