Brett Kavanaugh clones.
It's ironic that the sons of immigrants - full of white privilege - were so disrespectful to a true native and original/rightful landowner and veteran.
I believe women should run the world. Let’s give them a chance. Raise your hand if you’re with me 🙋♀️🙋♂️🖐👋🙌🤚✊

I hope every college admissions office who receives a college ap from a male student from this school does a picture match to see if they were part of this group.

Speaking of making 100’s of millions of dollars, can you explain how Pelosi , Clinton, and Obama are all worth over a 100 million.. all while working in public service. Campaign finance laws were broken by both Obama and Clinton, were you as outraged then?
Newscaster apologizes after adding racial slur to Martin Luther King Jr.'s name on air. #mistake. YEAH RIGHT!!!
On AOC: "Far beyond policy, she has emerged as a potent symbol for a diversifying Democratic Party: a young woman of color who is giving as good as she gets in a political system that has rarely rewarded people who look like her." https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/13/nyregion/ocasio-cortez-democrats-congress.html …
Touches on a larger point: w/ low pay, multiple jobs, a burning planet, war on drugs & few protections for the LGBT+, the political status quo has done so little for so many that when regular people win, we don’t feel as though we owe it much of anything at all. Why not change?
Eagles to the pit of misery, dilly dilly!
Congress should not be paid during the shut down.
I learned yesterday that attendance at committee meetings is abysmally low. Committee chairs are excited when we tell them '@AOC doesn't do call time, so we can actually show up!'. Just showing up is too high a bar for these legislators telling us we need to learn the ropes.
This week I learned some members spend as little as 5 hours per WEEK in their office bc their fundraising commitments are so high. It’s not them, it’s our broken system of campaign finance. Bc I rely on recurring small dollar donors (http://ocasio2018.com/donate !), I can do my job.
One of the most important things people can do to get big money out of politics is small recurring monthly donations. (You can see the monthly button on this link) It’s like Netflix, but for unbought members of Congress. It’s why I can act independently.
I often find that some members who have to do call time the most are very enthusiastic about getting money out of politics. Members do want less obligations to lobbyists & more leg. work, but some House races cost < $10 million; & that’s *every 2 years* before outside spending!
Like, imagine if the world was flipped & CBS hired an all-poc team to cover 2020, & someone said “hey, white voters are really influential in presidential elections, especially in the Midwest. You should have some white journos who get that” & someone said “I found a Serbian guy”
The President’s actions have been so destabilizing + destructive that the FBI had to open inquiry on whether the most powerful person in the United States is actually working for Russia. Reminder: Trump has currently shut down the Federal government.
Carrie Walls of Ashburn won the top prize in the Virginia Lottery's Ford Expedition Plus $100K promotion. Her ticket was drawn out of 554,000 entries in the December 4 drawing, the lottery said.
According to the lottery, she said the $100,000 is timely because her husband is a federal worker furloughed in the federal government shutdown, which has lasted 21 days as of Friday. "I cried. I couldn't believe it," she said about realizing she'd...

The family of 1 of the 800,000 federal workers stiffed on pay this week got lucky, winning a $100,000 lottery prize and a new SUV
