These skills suddenly disappeared and became Inzaghi

He had to give up the skills to become the best in the word. Alex Ferguson advised him to give up the showboating if he wants to be a goal machine

The goals inside the six yards are not enough to become best in the world. Skills are the most important that why gaucho, zizou, maradona, messi are exceptional

How many, has messi got from outside ? , Ronaldo is everything a footballer can wish for, he kept evolving from a silky winger, to a team player, a goal machine and now a playing legend, he's done it all and that's why he's the best

He is the best goal scorer, not the best player

The best player, clearly has to have all those attributes, so if he isn't, then who is?

Coming from a CR7 fan i personally think he is the most overrated player of all time in.. the guy is a scoring machine and thats a fact but ,when it comes to dodging and 1vs all skills hes got none and that can be said to CR7 for the last 6-8 years hes completely lost it

Yeah but his playing style hasn’t changed. He still takes on players, assists and scores goals. He still does it all at 31 while Ronaldo became just a goal scorer.

Messi reinvented himself and so did Ronaldo. Hope this helps

Ronaldo become a poacher because his obsessed with his goal scoring records pushing people out the way to take pens when messi is an all round team player where goals come naturally to him, he would happily let a team mate take a pen. This is why messi no doubt is everybody's 🐐

I personally thought he was at his best at United and stunning to watch. He was more efficient at RM, a machine, and you can argue through stats that was when he was best. For me though, and in terms of pure ability with the ball, his last few season at United were his best.

Agree mate, more efficient at Madrid but definitely more exciting to watch when he was a raw talent at united. He was frustrating at times as well but his last 3 seasons he was ridiculous, best I’ve seen at united in my lifetime

Spot on. In the Messi / Ronaldo debate, everyone harps on about Messi being better to watch and forget what Ronaldo used to be like. He did all that at United. He was why you watched football.
