I'm looking forward to speaking at Friday's @RoySocMed "When Things Go Wrong" event. Talking openly about medical negligence & malpractice, implications on the individuals, how to have the right conversations with patients and families.#RSMWTGW @celesiouk http://ow.ly/m0FX30mm7Os

Sleep supports learning in many ways - processes and integrates information - but this needs enough quality night time sleep to be effective. Must ensure sufficient sleep for junior doctors to learn properly #rsmaomrc @AoMRC @RoySocMed @DrMikeFarquhar

Great to hear the flag being flown for sim as one way of tackling this and helping everyone move from 'silo' working and thinking. Allows everyone to understand their own roles and responsibilities while breaking down cultural tensions @DrMikeMagro. #simworks #HFinPaeds #homsim https://twitter.com/Damian_Roland/status/1052141556457775104 …

Teamwork is a skill. It can be practised and improved. Regular Simulation is key! @RoySocMed @jacquivieenrose @Damian_Roland @TeamMidwife @RSM_Darzi @RCObsGyn @MidwivesRCM

That was I think the most bonkers day I’ve ever had. Speaking at #HFinPaeds and at #organharvesting #china #humantissueact Witnessing HSC interrogation of GMC post #bawagarba Wouldn’t have missed any of it. Much more work to do...on several fronts. Train home....zzzz

Great session on using simulation to teach human factors. Keep the medicine simple or maybe just not have any at all! #HFinPaeds

Thank you to @RSM_Darzi & @DrGuddiSingh for inviting me to #HFinPaeds Great day exploring moral distress, civility, courage, QI & my fav - complexity (Peter Wilson) The more we talk about this in an inclusive way the greater chance of positive change 👍🏻

Replying to @Chihao

Great question. I think there needs to be some local responsibility for organisations to keep trainees updated even when they have moved on. I suspect I am a rubbish role model at doing this… #HFinPaeds

Delighted to hear @moirasafetyQ talk about the way both patient's and professional's stories are brought to the hospital board to aid understanding of the human side of medicine. Story is at the heart of #humanfactors - individual, teams and systems. #HFinPaeds #paedsmedhums

There are some study days that you jot a few notes down, enjoy a matter and a lunch and go home without really feeling you've got value for money. There are others where you leave inspired and pumped up. #HFinPaeds is certainly the latter, and it's only halfway through

#HFinPaeds eliminating hierarchy, asking juniors “what do you think?” Include everyone. Be kind! Enjoyed talk by @andrewalrais
