More garbage in space. Why can’t someone invent a way to pick up the damn trash up there already?

There are people working on tools to collect dead satellites in space. Also, SpaceX was the one who punched a customer’s tool that attempted to collect garbage in space. Lastly, this isn’t garbage. We need satellites to communicate with each other and etc.

I’m glad to know someone is working on this problem. This is a commercial venture. For every new satellite that goes up two need to come down. I’m well aware we need satellites. We don’t need this many.

We need as many satellites as we need. You nor I get to decide how many satellites we need. If there is a good reason for these satellites, they will be relaunched. There are people in this world without internet, so I would say Starlink is definitely much needed.

Pretty sure the reasons they don’t have internet has nothing to do with how many satellites are in space.

How about collecting energy from the sun and beaming to a collection site that would provide a customer set at low rates.
