i's need to be dotted and t's crossed, but by all accounts Markieff Morris appears headed to OKC. So precisely what role will he have & will he even fit in the current iteration of the Thunder? (via @SteveThunderfan) #ThunderUp https://thunderousintentions.com/2019/02/16/okc-thunder-talent-fit-markieff-morris/ …

I wrote for @thunderousint about the new guy's fit with OKC. Spoiler: it's not perfect, but there's A LOT to be excited about! #ThunderUp

Great win on the road. We shot incredibly well, but they shot even better (50 FG, 52 from 3), out-rebounded us, and we won on volume of 3s, which may not always work. But 30 assists.. could be a sign of things to come. #ThunderUp, and check the T:T recap.

This possession makes me so happy with Russ but also, like, a tiny bit mad at Russ because he's capable of THIS.

I don't think any of the calls down the stretch were wrong. But there were a few that could have easily gone the other way that OKC got, that we'd be mad at if we were Toronto fans. So that's nice!

ObviouslyBilly is smarter than me, but I have an idea for Siakam on Russ. Russ blew by Siakam every time, but Gasol/others got in the way. So put Adams in the left dunker spot, 2 of Grant/Ferg/DS on the left side, and PG on the right wing/corner. Russ blow by.

Not sure if anyone's pointed this out yet, but this And-1 for Kawhi that fouled Grant out at 3:35 left in the 4th shouldn't have counted.

He was back on the ground before he released the shot. Should have been 2 FTs.

The "Steven Adams can't defend" crowd pretty quiet after this 1-1 for 2 points Gasol performance, huh?

So when I saw that the Thunder had 30 assists, I just assumed "Oh, well of course, they shot well." But idk... This possession, man...

(2/2) Next possession, Russ blocks OG at the rim, leading to a PG transition 3. Thunder lead from 5 to 10. Huge swing. This team thrives in transition, so they better try on defense.

Probably the biggest stretch of the game here (1/2). PG blocks Kawhi from behind, leading to a runout layup for Grant (who, again, is good at basketball).

I don't like the technical foul on Schröder. You have to allow for that he may just not know he's out of bounds for sure, and is trying to save it. Weird tech.

Grant's feet weren't set.

Huge play here from the Schredder, who was huge all night. Thunder had grown a 5 point lead, but the Raptors fought back to take the lead. Schröder knocks this down And-1. Huge play.

Kawhi yells very loudly when he shoots layups.

Lol for real tho. Every time.

It just feels like Kawhi never really messes up. It's pretty amazing.

Hot take - Jerami Grant is good at basketball.

Replying to @SteveThunderfan

Russ defense on Siakam was even more impressive IMO. Siakam cooked Grant all night long and Russ held him in check

Playing Nader in the Playoffs is going to be a problem. I'm sure Billy has his reasons for playing him over Burton. I'd like to know what they are.
