Fascinating graphic at BBC shows the countries ISIS member children are from; its almost like ISIS was a phenomenon of the global north, the wealthiest countries in the world. Why did so many wealthy countries produce genociders who preyed on Iraq, Syria? #ISIScrimes #AfterISIS

The Islamic State was declared on June the 29th 2014. Less than 6 months later I traveled to Syria to fight ISIS. After 3 years - and a lot of sweat, blood & tears - I watched the last ISIS fighters in Raqqa burn their weapons & surrender. The rest fled into the desert to die.
Sudan's deposed leader Omar Al-Bashir 'moved to Khartoum prison' as doctors and health workers join rally https://aje.io/k7ddc
