This is a really clever idea by the AP. Essentially writing up all the interesting revelations from all of the SCO's filings into a single cohesive narrative.

If you’ve ever read a story about a victim of abuse and you’ve wondered, “Well, if it was SO bad, why didn’t she/he leave or speak up sooner?” This very personal thread is for you. It is my life as it is today, laid bare.
In which David Sorensen’s ex wife tells the world just how much it cost her to speak the truth about what he did to her. Read.

Rep. Duncan Hunter is facing charges for misusing campaign funds. At least 9 of his political donors are helping to pay for his legal defense.

Important cause it tells us what DOJ is likely done with. Here’s everything DOJ has cleared Cohen to testify about:

@RonanFarrow - given you were one of the first reporters to cover juvenile costs, fines and fees, we thought you would appreciate the win in the fight for #debtfreejustice for youth and their families. https://twitter.com/juvlaw1975/status/1098748255251456001 …
Important issue: parents being forced to pay for their children’s juvenile detention, perpetuating a cycle of debt and poverty. Here’s some of my coverage they’re referring to, for @NBCNightlyNews: https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/double-punishment-when-parents-are-forced-to-pay-for-detention-890692163901 …
You're going to be seeing a lot of numbers fly by about Paul Manafort's potential prison sentence in Washington DC. The bottom line: he can't be sentenced to more than 10 years in DC. Remember, he's turning 70 yrs old April 1st.
Fairly dry Manafort sentencing memo — you can almost hear the cries of “still no collusion” from the WH. If Weissmann has a narrative on an alleged conspiracy connecting the Russians to Manafort to Trump campaign, he isn’t making it here.
I have perfectly timed having my children out so that the older one enters the "Lego mania" phase precisely as the younger one enters the "highly mobile put every single thing in mouth" phase. Excellent.

Leadership starts with our choices. That’s why I decided that no one on my staff will make less than $52k/year. It’s likely one of the highest entry-level salaries on the Hill. We pinch pennies elsewhere, but it’s worth every dime to pay a living wage. https://www.rollcall.com/news/congress/alexandria-ocasio-cortezs-call-living-wage-starts-office …
This is important. Members need to address issue of staff salaries at the bottom. Members also need to address issue of staff salaries at the top. Low pay drives brain drain. Increasingly inexperienced and inexpert staffs create a policy and process void lobbyists rush to fill.

Weird how entire RW “voter fraud” cottage industry and Trump haven’t said a peep about the massive GOP voter fraud in that NC House race so bad there’s a bipartisan decision to call for a whole new election.
They've purged voters and suppressed votes for years by decrying voter fraud. But now there's an egregious example of election fraud staring us all in the face, and not a peep. Says it all.

I wish Elizabeth Warren had paid more attention to research on universal childcare before proposing what she has: the evidence on the effects of universal childcare in Quebec is devastating: worse health for kids, more behavioral problems, worse parenting. https://www.nber.org/papers/w11832
“striking evidence that children are worse off in a variety of behavioral and health dimensions, ranging from aggression to motor-social skills to illness... also suggests... led to more hostile, less consistent parenting”
