The leads of Broad City are one dementional bordering sitcom style, Tuca and Bertie bring reality and pain to a show that uses the comedy format to explore real emotion, like bojack. Seems unfair to compare them because "two girls in a city and also they're friends"

Tuca and Bertie is way ahead of Broad City. Aside of enjoying it more, I found it much more relatable. They both struggled with real issues. The male characters were also multidimensional, even the villains.

I only watched it to the end because the remote was too far away, and I didn’t want to disturb my snoozing dog. Not a fan.
