DMN staff photographer @TomFoxPhoto captured this image shortly before a gunman opened fire on the Earle Cabell Federal Building Monday morning in downtown Dallas. Fox was waiting to enter the building to cover a trial when the attack took place. https://bit.ly/2XofZ0q
The @NRA will note that if we restricted assault weapons or high-capacity magazines, he might still have attacked with a knife. True. But we'd be so much better off if nuts attacked federal buildings and schools with knives rather than AR-15s and high-capacity magazines.
If you’d like to report a racist spreading racist lies to an American company that purports to ban racists but is actively facilitating them, here’s the link: https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/contact-us?email=paypalme …
Katie Hopkins - as retweeted by Donald Trump - is raising money via PayPal. PayPal’s acceptable use policy clearly says it cannot be used for ‘the promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory’. So why is it @PayPal?
Today’s ruling from the Supreme Court is an important victory for African Americans in Virginia who have been forced to vote in racially gerrymandered districts that kept rightful power away from them. Shameful. Fair elections will finally happen this fall for ALL Virginians.

Sudan's brutal new leader, Hemeti, one of the leaders of the Darfur genocide, is now consolidating power over all Sudan, after murdering pro-democracy protesters. The big question is whether the Sudanese army stands up to him as he drags the country backward.

8 U.S. Code § 1158: "Any alien who is physically present in the United States or who arrives in the United States, irrespective of such alien's status, may apply for asylum in accordance with this section." Seeking asylum is legal. This order violates US law by denying asylum.
Do you see a pattern?! South Carolina’s top election official sat on voting machine vendor ES&S’s secret advisory board & received trips, lodging, & dining worth $20k from ES&S. The entire state just signed a $51 M contract for ES&S’s ExpressVote barcode system. Thread. 1/

Vendors re-defined “paper ballot” to include summary cards marked by hackable voting machines, which means the paper ballots themselves can now be hacked, defeating the point. This scam puts us back where we were w/o paper ballots. #HandmarkedPaperBallots
ICYMI last week: @SecElaineChao kept stock she promised to sell ... she's used her office to benefit her shipping conglomerate family ... and she gave her husband, Mitch McConnell, an assist with pet projects to help his reelection efforts. Mmm, swampy!
24,502 signatures so far. Just a few more needed to get to 25,000! https://twitter.com/waltshaub/status/1139603476516954113 …
You did it!! 25,000! I didn't realize the count would get that high, so I don't know whether I should ask for more. But, if you signed the petition, how about trying to double your impact by trying to persuade someone else to sign it?
