Notre-Dame cathedral, the iconic symbol of the beauty and history of Paris, was scarred by an extensive fire on Monday evening. Part of the cathedral’s spire collapsed in the fire. “It is like losing a member of one’s own family.”
Fair point. But surely in hundreds of years someone thought of the eventuality of a fire like this. It's built right on the Seine -- a large body of water. Were there no pumps that could reach the top ready to go in case something catastrophic should happen? Maybe not.
Yeah!for every hour positive things are building up on history remember? #NotreDame though physically off location, still leaves an indelible mark in our lives. I call that hope with renovation. Let's be thankful for all this Easter means to us globally 💒
