Bill Barr said he intends to release as much as possible from the report. Special Counsel Robert Mueller will be involved in the scrubbing of the report to remove secret grand jury material and any content related to ongoing investigations before it could be public

The special counsel’s investigation was exhaustive. But it may be a while before we see the report. The latest updates:

Before they hanged him, Eichmann looked at Eitan and said, "Your time will come to follow me, Jew." Eitan replied, "But not today, Adolf, not today." Good goin', Rafi. R.I.P.

This is one of those news stories where you see who is and isn't careful about the difference between proving a negative and not proving a positive.

Statement from @DonaldJTrumpJr on Barr letter reads in part - “... the Mueller Report proves what those of us with sane minds have known all along, there was ZERO collusion with Russia....”

To be clear, I’m counting about 4 pull quotes for the actual “Mueller report.” The rest is Barr’s characterization of the report.

Quoted @PressSec

The Special Counsel did not find any collusion and did not find any obstruction. AG Barr and DAG Rosenstein further determined there was no obstruction. The findings of the Department of Justice are a total and complete exoneration of the President of the United States.”

Senator Lindsey Graham — who spent the day golfing with Trump — to me just now on Barr’s summary of Mueller’s report: “Home run for Trump.”

The best part about this will be if/when the outcome causes everyone in Washington to switch their position on everything related to the probe.

Quoted @Acosta

Per Barr letter: "Russian government actors successfully hacked into computers and obtained emails from persons affiliated with the Clinton campaign and Democratic Party organizations, and publicly disseminated those materials through various intermediaries, including Wikileaks"

So what will the President do to prevent such actions in 2020? @PressSec?

The push notification wars, Mueller edition

The push notification wars, Mueller edition

Donald Trump spent 18 months running down an investigation that has given him, largely, what he wanted: A credible and well investigated report that he nor his campaign colluded with the Russians.

Breaking News: The Mueller report found no conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia, but it stopped short of exonerating the president of obstruction of justice.
