She’s not getting enough attention.

If folks feel Warren is not getting attention, get active and get her message out there. We are in a new media and political landscape; ignore the old ideas of gatekeepers and preordained frontrunners.

The severity of this misconduct demands that elected officials in both parties set aside political considerations and do their constitutional duty. That means the House should initiate impeachment proceedings against the President of the United States.

I'm not endorsing a candidate yet because it's too early. But Elizabeth Warren keeps impressing me with her moral clarity, practical plans, and willingness to tackle corruption head on. Pay attention to Elizabeth Warren -- not just for 2020 but for today.

To ignore a President’s repeated efforts to obstruct an investigation into his own disloyal behavior would inflict great and lasting damage on this country, and it would suggest that both the current and future Presidents would be free to abuse their power in similar ways.

The US is now ranked as a "problematic" place for U.S. journalists to work. "Never before have US journalists been subjected to so many death threats or turned so often to private security firms for protection."

trying to imagine a world where congress did their job and removed a criminal president so that the people they represent didnt have to do it the hardest way possible.

everyone is talking about obstruction and collusion. wondering why no one is discussing that the even the redacted mueller report shows trump has violated the oath of office of the presidency. stop staring at the trees, ur missing the forest. impeachment proceedings should begin.

Roy Cohn was a mentor to Trump, a partner in crime, and the closest thing he had to a friend in his life. Cohn taught Trump how to operate, made the man he is today possible. Sarah Kendzior has spoken extensively on this, including here:

Thus, this hijacking was made possible in part because the GOP, Wall Street, and corporate America spent years creating a Swiss-cheese legal framework in which even trivial amounts of complexity or deniability renders political corruption lawful. /end https://twitter.com/sarahkendzior/status/1119042201831575552 …

"Impeachment sends a message about who we are as a country and what we will accept and abide. The rule of law demands action. Refusing to take action is normalizing atrocity. Lawlessness must be confronted regardless of the outcome, as a matter of principle and conscience."

This. @sarahkendzior is a social scientist and understands that performing collective norms is one of the things that creates culture. @SpeakerPelosi is ignoring the importance of the positive symbolic and social-psychological effect the *process* of impeachment could have.

"This is not a comparative study; this is literally the same people committing crimes over and over without repercussions. We would not even been dealing with this crisis if officials had acted with conscience and conviction earlier, and brought these criminal elites to justice."
