Ironic...No ramp at a smart city panel. I was invited to speak on accessibility but it was a struggle to get on to the stage
This tweet took me back to one of the studio taken by @blnaveen where we discussed "SMART" agendas, smartness for whom? Surprisingly, in a discussion of accessibility, the least is expected is this. Is this how we define our smartness?
In celebration of #GDPR's 1st birthday on 25 May, I'm sharing my entire communication with @Facebook to get my personal data out. Read for yourself the fascinating “legal” hoops they go through, and how they believe they are above @EU_Commission decisions. https://ruben.verborgh.org/facebook/

Hey, I wrote something! … I’ve been hiring people for 10 years, and I still swear by a simple rule: If someone doesn’t send a thank you email, don’t hire them. https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-write-thank-you-email-after-job-interview-2019-4 …
The only thing a thank you note represents to me is what the norms are for the social class and cultural background are of that candidate. It’s nice to get one, but literally doesn’t factor into the decision at all, and shouldn’t. I’ve been hiring people for 20+ years.
"Dear Man, your hands are were not made to carry shopping bags or stroke furry kittens however cute they may be,.." who writes this shit really? @OldSpice @OldSpiceIndia (And other such "male products") reaffirm the dominant ideology of hegemonic masculinity.
