Yo... I need to admit something. Because this is sincere and I can promise you I’ve thought this for 30+ years. I legitimately thought when a throw was “on a line” it meant it was a flat, no more than 10 feet or so off the ground, Ichiro-Vlad-Francoeur type of missile.
So even though Bryce’s throw showed off his plus-plus arm, got there on the fly, was over 96mph, I thought because it kind of went up a little and then back down (I feel dumb even writing that now), that it wasn’t “on a line.” Really strong, on the fly, but not “on a line.”
While you are here learning baseball lessons, you're also handing out life lessons on how to recognize a mistake, learn from it, be honest and gracious about it. In a platform full of trolls, you showed us what class looked like. Well done Sir.
