The US national debt has topped $22 trillion for the first time, including a $1 trillion spike in just the last 11 months. https://cnn.it/2S1o70e Here's what to know about that figure: https://cnn.it/2thNNvM
Trump is going golfing this weekend. Let that be a clue as to this being an ‘emergency’. https://twitter.com/workingfamilies/status/1096474791148703744 …
#PutinsPuppet’s puppet, @senatemajldr #WheresMitch, is lying about the Democrats & supporting @realDonaldTrump’s unconstitutional #FAKENationalEmergency for 3 reasons: ♦️He’s too weak to stand up to Trump ♦️He’s up for re-election in 2020 ♦️TrumPutin has kompromat on him
Aipac, the pro-Israel lobby, raises more than $100 million a year, which it spends on lobbying politicians for U.S. aid and sending members of Congress to Israel https://on.wsj.com/2DDlMn8

If this budget truly is veto-proof, as the vote would indicate, not sure Trump vetoing it would be any more than an empty gesture. Hard to tell if the majority would remain veto-proof if he did veto. Simply don't know.
How is something so bad veto-proof? Did someone beam all the Republicans out of Congress? #WheresMitch
Trump's economy is leaving his right-wing base stranded in poverty -- and it's getting worse #WheresMitch

You speak as though you actually care about ethics, but have hijacked our government more than once to line your own pockets & uphold Trump’s racist agenda. Your duty is to the Constitution & to the Prople. #YouHaveFailed #FiscalResponsibilityMatters #WheresMitch
So let me get this straight: Declaring Election Day a national holiday would be a "power grab," but declaring a national emergency over a manufactured crisis is totally fine?
Remember how the GOP incessantly blamed Obama for "Presidential overreach"? The worm has turned. This ridiculous "emergency declaration" would be beyond the scope of anything ever seen before. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/14/us/politics/trump-national-emergency-law.html …
When have we ever debated whether something is a “national emergency?” If it’s not generally accepted, isn’t that the first sign that it’s not? #NationalEmergency
The sheer bludgeoning of the American people, of the Constitution & of presidential norms that has taken place against the backdrop of utter silence of the GOP, is mind boggling. It’s exhausting. DO. NOT. EVER. TRUST. THEM. TO . GOVERN. AGAIN!
