BREAKING: Commonwealth Atty Tom Wine to file motion to dismiss indictment against Kenneth Walker, boyfriend of #BreonnaTaylor. Wine wants to wait for further investigations from FBI, AG @djaycameron & District Attorney. #JusticeForBreonna #JusticeForBre #BlackLivesMatter https://t.co/ITQhurjj9K

Breonna Taylor served her city as an award-winning EMT. She was senselessly killed in a botched operation at the hands of an agency that is supposed to protect and serve. TAKE ACTION: Sign Breonna's family's petition to reform the system & seek justice: https://t.co/qRlYG1odGs

Remember, police used this warrant to search for drugs that did not exist and person that they ALREADY had in custody.

Wine is now playing a recording of @LMPD Sgt. Mattingly who was there to execute the warrant. Mattingly says they knocked and announced themselves. He is describing the moment he was shot and when he fired his gun.

Walker says they never heard the police announce themselves and that they have "no reason to be hostile" to the police. He says they would not have had the gun out if they had known who was at the door. Walker is a licensed gun owner.

Walker called 911, not knowing the police were the ones entering the apartment at the time. Wine is playing a fourth clip now.

Walker says the door came open and there were many shots. He fired a "warning shot" at the ground as the door was kicked open. Breonna Taylor was dead in the hallway, shot by @LMPD officers. Wine is playing another audio clip now.

Walker says the door to the apartment came "off the hinges fast...like an explosion," and that they thought someone was "breaking into the home."

Wine just played a recording of Walker explaining what happened. Kenneth Walker and Breonna Taylor heard a "loud bang at the door" and asked who was there, but heard no response. Wine is playing a second audio recording now.
