In a state that claims not abide excuses, so many folks are full of them on this subject. And this after Bob Stoops titled his memoir No Excuses. Silence is an action. Stop being so concerned with being called racist, and give that energy to combatting racism. Become vulnerable.

White cops tried to mess with the wrong guy this time - then they realised he’s FBI agent 🤣😂 #BlackLivesMatter https://t.co/hWYsID56Jf

The year I turned 29 then-Tulsa Police officer Betty Shelby killed Terrence Crutcher while he stood unarmed in the middle of the street.

I just want to say that I am blessed to be part of such an significant football family @OU_Football. Every staff member took time to call us individually and let us know they are here for us in such a dark time in our lives. This is what it’s all about. I am very blessed 💯#OUDNA

Thousands peacefully kneeling in DC remembering George Floyd chanting, “Stop Killing Black People.” Why isn’t this video viral? Why is the media only interested in talking about isolated acts of vandalism & theft? We’re here & We ain’t leaving. https://t.co/pJCsBbKisr

Is the media showing this??? I bet you they aren’t. 🤦🏾‍♂️. This is beautiful https://t.co/rKPuTIz7bC

So can we all admit Colin Kaepernick was right?

To all my boys at OU right now ... be more vocal than ever right now .. Linc was with us in 2015 and didn’t hesitate to stand wit us , be smart and most importantly be safe ! Got y’all back no matter wht , been there before ! ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽

Awesome turnout here in OKC. Even saw a familiar face when #Sooners safety Justin Broiles grabbed the megaphone and talked to the crowd. https://t.co/UMk2ULOnQc

A lot of you “ultimate football fans” got things backwards. Understand that there’s more to life than the sport especially during these times. Telling some of us football players to “keep our opinions to a minimum” or “ just worry about performing on sundays” is foul.

Preach. https://t.co/HJCnIJlp8R

"Being a celebrity, being an NBA player don't exclude me from no conversation at all." Jaylen Brown drove 15 hours from Boston to Atlanta to join the protests. (via @FCHWPO) https://t.co/eZR1fxvCdd
