If the reported fees for Gana, Lookman, McCarthy, and Besic are accurate, that’s around £67mil for Brands to play with.

🗣️ || @DiMarzio || Juventus are ready to sell stiker Moise Kean. 🔹Multiple clubs are interested in the 19-year-old striker who Juventus would want €25-30 million for. 🔹If Juventus were to sell the promising youngster they would keep an option to match any future sale.

I'm not saying getting Kean will make up for losing Gana, but I'd like to give it a shot and find out...

Of course selling Gana is going to hurt. Getting over 30mil for a 30 year old will be good business, and frankly we need to make decisions based on business because we bought Tosun, Walcott, Bolasie, etc.

The idea of buying Delph and selling McCarthy for about the same price can only be seen as a good thing, right?

GOAL! Matchwinning stuff from Niasse as he bamboozles the entire Monaco team, chipping an innovative cross off a defender’s shin to Captain Coleman who heads ball and goalkeeper into the tax dodgers’ net.

One thing about Coleman, is he’ll always go all out. Hope he’s alright, great poaching.

Niasse with the assist!

If that had gone in...

I consider every time we get the ball to Niasse in a position to shoot as an actual a goal, even though he just gives Monaco the ball.

Niasse is definitely hampering our attack, but Bernard hasn't done much, either.

Broadhead still the highlight going forward. 3 corners won, 2 shots on target, at least one key pass in the first 40 minutes.

Don't think I'm really breaking any new ground here, but this is what I hope our squad looks like this season. Obviously the devil is in the details, and those 4 new signings need to be spot-on. Every first-team player not on the list should be sold.

Isn't there a term for spreading bad news about yourself by denying it? Sportpesa having one here.

I have high hopes for Bowler. He really seemed a player in the U23 games I watched (especially later in the season). Hope he can really take a leap this season at Hull.

Broadhead continues to have an impressive preseason https://twitter.com/efc_ch/status/1151509161324306432 …

Barcelona's number on Malcom seems pretty unlikely. They need to sell him more than we need to buy him. Doesn't seem like anyone else is really sniffing around either.

If we sell Gana and Lookman, think we’d need 5 more incomings: Striker (Kean) Winger (Malcom) Center mid CB (Zouma) RB We have time to bring them all in, but need to get going on outgoings soon (Besic, McCarthy, and Bolasie should be the easiest).

I really don't get Evertonians complaining about there being a 'sky top six' and then saying they hope to finish in the top 6. 6th gets you nothing except a few extra millions in TV money. This seasons goal should be top 5 (guaranteed Europe) and/or a trophy.

The money recieves for Robinson & Besic is about the few for Delph. He will cover both of those positions better than them.

This is probably the right way to think about the deal, and shows it’s a good move.

Silva’s comments on Delph (good and flexible) are good reasons to sign him. I like Delph’s comments, too.
