“How do we move forward? I do not know how we will get there. I wish I had all the answers, but I know this much. We cannot reach that place until we end the hateful speech and the law breaking & the unprovoked attacks against police officers & the rhetoric that fuels.” @NYPDShea

Calling them unprovoked is ridiculous. Neighborhoods have felt occupied by the police, not protected, for decades. When an invading soldier is attacked while patrolling, you wouldn’t call that unprovoked. Militarize the police then play victim when there is violent conflict🤔 https://t.co/dwPK6Motx6

The lack of humanity in the reaction of the other officers says it all. Where is the disgust? Where is the anger at their co-worker? https://t.co/oYjXRqS41L

Black and brown lives continue to be treated as “less than” around the world... masked men try to drown refugee men, women, and children on the Greek border. https://t.co/d9ozKhwg1H

If these guys are acquitted, the whole country may be burnt down and we can’t say we don’t deserve it. Men charged in Ahmaud Arbery’s death case appear in court https://t.co/9Utk5i9Qf7

🔴🔴🔴SHARE THIS PLEASE 🔴🔴🔴 Right now as we speak a boat is going to sink in the sea, these humans are begging for help, begging for their life’s, they have been stuck in the sea for 28 hours , and no one came to… https://t.co/vFTkhfaFvX

In November, we can vote to end Trump's American carnage. https://t.co/lCbmmJomrn

They're saying there are no leaders but New York City is full of leaders. Here's one. #GeorgeFloyd #nycprotests #BlackLivesMatter https://t.co/4SWJcMO6I3

“Feed our babies and we wouldn’t have a problem. People are sick and tired of being sick and tired. This is what sick and tired looks like.” https://t.co/cLWtNW3FDI

Marched in solidarity. Mostly young New Yorkers. All races. All behaved. What was most telling is the cheers from the cab drivers, the construction workers, shop keepers, everyone. NYC is resilient and stands with change. https://t.co/0Zfnk4iSJ5

Either you believe we are the same or u don’t! So the question is how angry, frustrated, helpless would YOU have to feel to burn down your neighborhood store/s?

#GeorgeFloyd's last words were "I can't breathe" and "Don't kill me." Text JUSTICE to 668366 & demand #JusticeForFloyd gif: @intoactionus https://t.co/L8da1qKD32

We've come to accept ex-soldiers and those pretending to be roaming our streets treating our communites like warzones. Why!? We have to end it. We have to demilitarize our police. We have to restore justice. #GeorgeFloyd #BlackLiveMatter #NoJusticeNoPeace https://t.co/z93s4govNd

@drmistercody American police are rioting in response to calls for them to be held accountable for their actions

Torturing, arresting and killing people and protesters by using power and force reminds me of #Assad and its army and other dictators. The army and the police should stand with the people, they are out there to protect them not to scare them #BlacklivesMaters #NYCPROTEST .

🙏🏻 for these two. If anyone knows who they are, Zoe and I would love to help them. https://t.co/Z5KIAMAiwd
