@dougducey Dion Johnson murdered in his car while sleeping no response from Ducey. But the threat of property being damaged moves Ducey to issue a curfew and call out the national guard. Interesting priorities.

Do you miss the sound of trains? A few months ago @adamklevy and I put together an ongoing project called "In Transit," offering an assortment of train sounds from different cities around the world. https://t.co/pW4V7HQBjc

BREAKING: Massachusetts has just announced 51 *new* cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of presumptive cases to 92 -- a 124 percent increase from yesterday. Seventy of the cases are related to the Biogen conference in Boston. Six people are hospitalized. #WBZ

Three infected travelers at a scientific conference have now infected at least SEVENTY others. If you're organizing a conference in next several months, please ask yourself whether you want the same to happen there. Because it will. The conference can wait. https://t.co/zescWfE8pe

No cannula? No problem.

Just use two oven-dried syringes backwards through seals in a small oven-dried 2-neck flask. Blow it through with Ar or N2 and when cooled, you're away.

Check the chemical!
Control the flow!
Possibly scare the everloving out of colleagues!

You have no idea how many people have called and told me they were voting "yes" on #Prop105 because they love #lightrail, or "no" on #Prop105 because they hate it. IT'S THE OPPOSITE, FOLKS! https://t.co/a2oA1urVD6 via @azcentral

Interviewing voters is the most humbling and frustrating part of reporting because no matter how much you’ve published about an election, most of them still have no idea what they’re voting on. For Phoenix voters: Yes on 105 = no new light rail anywhere ever. https://t.co/VxRAwUwHyf

keys to being a good editor - jump in the writer’s google doc and rapidly highlight arbitrary pieces of text while they’re writing - go to the top of the doc while they’re trying to type and just go to town on backspace/enter - comment “?” on every 35th word no matter what it is

things found in the base bath yesterday: -broken glass -2-dram vials -horrifically-scratched-up RBF that should have been tossed years ago -more broken glass -TLC jars and other such irreplaceable glassware which definitely warranted the use of a base bath #realtimechem

If people are afraid higher grad stipends will slow down time to degree, wait till they hear about the effects of the giant knot of anxiety that comes from constantly living on the edge of financial disaster.

"Hey, want to see the worst org syn workup ever? https://t.co/Q9HN42KZes" I wonder how bad it can be. Then the first thing I read is "This reaction requires a little bit of preliminary engineering and construction." and well, okay, sure, what kind of engineering? https://t.co/fRelHtHNCF
