i drive both an h2 car and an ev regularly, and i can tell you that there's no way you want an h2 over an ev. at all. ever. and no, batteries don't add a ton to a car. it's a few 100kg by now max. the recuperation and efficiency makes up for that many times. unlike h2.
After 1.222 days, 100.450 kilometres and 34 countries I reached the end! The end of the world and the end of my journey. This signpost marks NZ's most southern point Bluff and that's as far as you can go by car. Proud that I made it, sad it's over but excited about the future.
Massive congrats to Wiebe, we met him in Dubai nearly 2 years ago and he'd been travelling for ages back then. Half way around the world in an electric car. Charging infrastructure? Pah!

Never a dull day in the energy transition... • Europe’s summer heatwaves are driving demand for air conditioning • NEW! Robert reviews Mercedes EQC • Electric cars & the end of gas boilers will help UK reach net zero • A-Z of everything All over on http://FullyCharged.Show
I'm a bit over excited. There is a machine being delivered to me tomorrow, it has a big battery, it plugs in, it's quiet, it's very useful and it's not a car, or bike, or van, or bus. (We're making an episode about it for #FullyChargedShow)
I'll be out and about in exciting places for @FullyChargedShw next week. And I think that there's some bonus fun and games with a thermal camera on the way too. Fizzix (which is the Correct Spelling, obviously) will be doing its bit for the FC audience :)
